ARTWORK REQUEST INFORMATION
We strive to offer the best artwork in the industry, we have laid out what information we would like from the customers to create the best artwork and product possible.
WHY THE ARTWORK FEE?
Artwork involves much more than creating a rendering to show for a visual audience. Each items must be arranged as one piece for printing. The art fee covers to create, edit, and setup for printing. Hat designs and digitizing fees are some of the things that the art fee also covers. If you dont expect quality artwork to give you a unique look, you may not pay an art fee while others may blend the fee in their pricing as part of an attempt to hide the cost.
When submitting the art request please keep the following guidelines in mind:
-
Please combine all information, notes, ideas in ONE email/request. This eliminates the artists having to look at multiple emails and possibly missing something in the design or details.
-
When submitting art (sponsor logos, team logo examples), use the best image that you can find or give the location of which you found the original image (google, website, etc.). Screenshots of images are often pixelated and poor images to use for artwork. VECTOR IMAGES ARE PREFERRED.
SUGGESTION: When searching for images, look for only images with the sizing of 1024 x 768 or larger. Also avoid images with watermarks in the background.
-
Please be detailed in what art/text you are wanting and the location of your details. Artwork has many locations that it can go, so please tell our artists where to put it. This also includes colors (main body, secondary, accent colors- see color swatch page).
-
If you have an idea or a certain style that you want to duplicate or modify, please include that in that original email as it can help the salesman/graphic artist understand the direction the customer is wanting to go with their apparel/design.
EXAMPLE FOR ARTWORK LOCATIONS THAT CUSTOMER SHOULD SPECIFY: Front, Back, Right Sleeve, Left Sleeve and other locations for artwork.
-
If you require a certain font, please research the name of that font and include that in your artwork request. These can be found on the internet at websites such as dafont.com, fontsquirrel.com, or by searching through a search engine.
OUR ARTIST WILL ATTEMPT TO REPLICATE YOUR WANTS AND VISIONS, BUT KEEP IN MIND WE WANT TO LIMIT CONSTANT MODIFICATIONS
